After sitting at the bottom of the table for most of April, Greenville Triumph SC (3-4-1, 6th) has a real shot of finishing the weekend in second place with a win over One Knoxville SC (3-3-2, 5th) and a few other results going its way. Still, the same thing can be said of One Knox, who can also finish the weekend in second with a potential six-point Week 10. The first meeting between the sides will see Triumph SC's all-time leading scorer, Jake Keegan, return to Greenville for the first time since departing over the offseason.
GVL - Brandon Fricke: The 31-year-old defender became the third player in league history to score in all five seasons with his 27th-minute score on Saturday and was named to the Team of the Week.

In another first-time meeting in Week 10, expansion side Lexington SC (2-4-1, 10th) will travel to City Stadium to face the Richmond Kickers (2-2-4, 8th) on Saturday evening. After going 2-0-1 against the Red Wolves during the 2022 regular season, the Owls fell to Chattanooga in extra time of the quarterfinals of the 2022 League One Playoffs but look to have the upper hand this time around against a struggling Red Wolves side.

Following a big 4-0 win for Central Valley Fuego FC (1-5-1, 12th) in its first meeting with South Georgia Tormenta FC (4-4-0, 3rd), Central Valley has failed to score a goal against South Georgia in two subsequent meetings. Fuego FC is riding a four-match losing streak and the second-longest scoreless streak in league history, while Tormenta FC has been heating up with two wins in its last three contests. This one has the potential to be a bit one-sided.
