FRESNO, Calif. - Central Valley Fuego FC today announced the signing of veteran Mexican forward Othoniel Arce Jaramillo, pending league and federation approval. The 33-year-old striker has amassed 393 career appearances, 95 goals and 23 assists across 14 professional seasons in Mexico, Guatemala and Peru.

The Tejupilco, Mexico native began his career in 2010 with San Luis FC in the top-flight Mexican Primera Division, now Liga MX, making his professional debut against CD Guadalajara in August 2010. From 2010 to 2011 with San Luis, Arce made 35 appearances and scored four goals across Primera Division and Copa Libertadores play.

In 2012, Arce made the move to CF Monterrey and made eight Primera Division and two Concacaf Champions League appearances, helping Rayados to its second Champions League crown. At the end of 2012, Arce was sent out on a number of loans from Monterrey. Between 2012 and 2017, Arce suited up for first-division Liga MX and second-division Liga de Expansión MX sides Club León, CF Pachuca, CF Monterrey, Querétaro FC, Lobos BUAP, Atlético San Luis, Cimarrones de Sonora FC and Club Necaxa, totaling 152 appearances, 41 goals and 10 assists.

Moving south for the first time in his career, Arce competed in the Guatemalan top-flight Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Guatemala and Peruvian top-flight Liga 1 between 2018 and 2022. With CD Suchitepéquez, Deportivo Siquinalá, CSD Municipal, FBC Melgar, Ayacucho FC and CD Malacateco, Arce made 151 appearances, scored 49 goals, bagged 10 assists and won the 2020 Liga Nacional de Guatemala Apertura with Municipal. Arce's 151 appearances were split amongst domestic league, Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana, Concacaf League and Copa Bicentenario play.

On the international stage, Arce was a member of the Mexico U-23 youth national team that won the gold medal at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara.
