FRESNO, Calif. - Central Valley Fuego FC on Wednesday announced the signing of defender Harold Hanson.

Hanson spent the latter portion of his youth career with FC Golden State Force in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy between 2016-17. Hanson signed his first professional contract with the Portland Timbers 2 in March 2017 before making his professional debut against Orange County SC in April. Between 2017 and 2020, Hanson made 78 appearances for T2, scoring twice and recording five assists.

Hanson made two appearances for Portland's senior team, going 90 minutes in a 2-1 defeat to Cascadian rivals Seattle Sounders FC in the Fourth Round of the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup before appearing as an 89th-minute substitute in a MLS match against another Cascadia Cup counterpart in Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

After T2 paused operations following the 2020 season, Hanson signed with NISA's Albion San Diego. Hanson made 23 appearances for San Diego, scoring once and assisting thrice.

The Ontario, Calif. native has been called up to represent the United States Youth National Team at the U-15, U-16 and U-18 levels at various camps.
