TUCSON, Ariz. - FC Tucson today announced it has sent 22-year-old winger Daniel Bloyou on loan to Swedish Ettanfotboll's Ljungskile SK pending league and federation approval.

The Accra, Ghana native and 2022 MLS SuperDraft selection made six appearances between League One and U.S. Open Cup play for FC Tucson in his first professional season.

"He is a young player who has exciting qualities that can give us additional dimensions in our attacking game," said Ljungskile SK Manager Eric Lund. "Daniel will join a team with several young players combined with more experienced ones, which makes it a good environment to develop in. Both Daniel and LSK will benefit from that."

The third-division side has played in Ettan since being relegated from the second-division Superettan in 2020. Ljungskile SK last played in the top-flight Allsvenskan in 2008.

Bloyou joins former FC Tucson midfielder Jared Odenbeck and New Mexico United midfielder Ken Akamatsu in Ljungskile. Bloyou is expected to be available for selection in LSK's next match on July 31.
