Four matches conclude Week 15

GREENVILLE TRIUMPH SC vs. Central Valley Fuego FC

In the pair's third meeting of the season, Greenville Triumph SC (7-4-3, 2nd) will need to top Central Valley Fuego FC (4-4-5, 8th) for the first time in order to return to the top of the league table. A tale of two sides, John Harkes' Triumph SC are unbeaten in six of its last seven, while Martín Vásquez's Fuego FC have claimed just one win in its last six. Despite Central Valley's volatile start to the season, another win over Greenville could propel the side to a third-place position by the end of the evening.

GVL - Nate Shultz: Shultz tallied eight clearances, eight interceptions and nine recoveries across two matches last week, also adding an assist in a 1-1 draw in Tucson.

CV - Jordan Chavez: Chavez recorded seven recoveries, four clearances and three interceptions in an overall strong defensive performance against Tormenta FC last week.

North Carolina FC vs. Union OMaha

One of seven clubs with which Union Omaha (4-2-5, 7th) maintains a flawless record against, the Owls will look to claim their third victory over North Carolina FC (5-6-2, 6th) in Cary on Saturday evening. North Carolina FC will aim to overcome a three-match losing streak - its longest since October 2021 - and defeat Union Omaha for the first time in club history. Omaha has the opportunity to jump into third place with a win over NCFC pending other results around the league.

NC - Oalex Anderson: The Anderson-McLaughlin connection resulted in another goal last week as McLaughlin assisted Anderson's opening score in Richmond.

OMA - JP Scearce: Scearce tallied the first professional brace of his career and first for an Owl in league play this season two weeks ago. Additionally, Scearce won the penalty that he would go on to convert and racked up four recoveries, three interceptions and two clearances in 79 minutes.

South Georgia Tormenta FC vs. Chattanooga Red Wolves SC

The first meeting of the season between two Southern rivals sees South Georgia Tormenta FC (4-4-5, 9th) host Chattanooga Red Wolves SC (5-7-2, 5th) in Statesboro as the former looks to even up the all-time series at 3-3-2 with a home win. Tormenta FC snapped a six-match winless streak with a victory over Fuego FC in Fresno last week, while the Red Wolves aim to bounce back from a pair of disappointing 2-1 losses.

TRM - Pablo Jara: Earning Player of the Week honors, Jara recorded a six-save shutout in South Georgia’s cross-country win in Fresno.

CHA - Juan Galindrez: Galindrez propelled Chattanooga to its largest-ever victory as the Colombian forward recorded his first professional hat trick in a 7-1 victory over Charlotte two weeks ago.

FC TUCSON VS. Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC

With both clubs on the cusp of breaking free from the bottom of the table, FC Tucson (3-7-3, 11th) will face Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC (4-5-4, 10th) for the first time in club history. Navigating a gauntlet of a mid-season schedule, Tucson has earned points against Central Valley, Chattanooga and Greenville and will hope to extend its positive 3-2-1 record in first-time matchups with expansion sides. For Northern Colorado, the first-year club has been alternating wins and losses since June 18 and is coming off a 2-1 defeat to Madison.

TUC - Donny Toia: Hometown talent Donny Toia recorded his first professional goal in Tucson in his return to Kino North as Tucson recorded a promising draw against Greenville.

NCO - Brecc Evans: Evans scored his first goal of the season last week in addition to tallying three clearances, an interception and eight recoveries.
