Greenville top the Power Rankings for the first time this season

Greenville Triumph SC jump to the top of the Power Rankings for the first time this season as the side continues its rise following a slow start to the season. Greenville have won four of its last five and are perched atop the league table.

In its lone Week 13 match, Greenville played host to the newcomers from Colorado in a first-time meeting. A relatively quiet first 45 minutes gave way to a 20-minute period to start the second half in which three goals were recorded – two by Greenville and one by Northern Colorado – to confirm Triumph SC’s victory.

Despite the volatility of Week 13's results, this week's Power Rankings is highlighted by subtle changes. Greenville sees the largest rise, while Tormenta FC experiences the biggest drop.

Biggest Movers

1 Greenville Triumph SC
Week 13: W v. NCO
Last Week: 3
Highest Ranking: 1
The only club in the top four of the table to claim a victory in a wild Week 13, Triumph SC have won four of its last five and top a congested league table.
2 Richmond Kickers
Week 13: L @ MAD
Last Week: 1
Highest Ranking: 1
One goal shy of Chattanooga’s league-high scoring offense, the Kickers’ potent attack was muzzled by an improving Madison side. Richmond’s loss was the first in nearly a month.
3 North Carolina FC
Week 13: L @ CV
Last Week: 2
Highest Ranking: 2
NCFC’s four-match unbeaten streak was snapped thanks in large part to Christian Chaney’s unlikeliest of braces for Fuego FC. Up next is a daunting four-match slate consisting of matchups with Greenville, Richmond, Omaha and Chattanooga.
4 Union Omaha
Week 13: W @ TRM
Last Week: 5
Highest Ranking: 2
With its sole focus now on league play, the reigning league champions bounced back from their first shutout loss in league action since October 2021 with a come-from-behind victory over Tormenta FC.
5 Central Valley Fuego FC
Week 13: L @ NCO, W v. NC
Last Week: 4

Fuego FC claimed its first home victory in club history with a 3-2 win over NCFC. Snapping a four-match winless streak, Central Valley are three points off the top of the table.
6 Chattanooga Red Wolves SC
Week 13: W v. CLT, L v. TUC

Last Week: 6
Highest Ranking: 1
If not for Charlotte’s wild week, the Red Wolves may have had one of the most unique weeks in league history, claiming its largest win in club history in a 7-1 thrashing over Charlotte before coming up short against the league’s last place club, FC Tucson, just days later.
7 Charlotte Independence
Week 13: L @ CHA, W v. MAD
Last Week: 8
Highest Ranking: 1
As previously mentioned, the Independence had an all-time week, conceding the most goals in club history in a 7-1 loss to Chattanooga before scoring the most goals in club history days later in a 6-2 win over Madison.
8 Forward Madison FC
Week 13: W v. RIC, L @ CLT
Last Week: 7
Highest Ranking: 3
Another club with an up-and-down week, Madison downed the then top-of-the-table Kickers before recording its largest loss in club history in a 6-2 loss to the Independence in Charlotte.
9 Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC
Week 13: W v. CV, L @ GVL
Last Week: 10
Highest Ranking: 6
Following up a promising 4-1 win over fellow expansion side Fuego FC with a disappointing 2-1 loss to Triumph SC, the Hailstorm are still trying to figure out its identity in its first season of existence.
10 FC Tucson
Week 13: W @ CHA
Last Week: 11
Highest Ranking: 7
Flying under the radar, FC Tucson have recorded impressive results in back-to-back weeks, keeping Fuego FC out of goal in a scoreless draw before topping the red-hot Red Wolves in Chattanooga for the second time this season.
11 South Georgia Tormenta FC
Week 13: L v. OMA
Last Week: 9
Highest Ranking: 2
Tormenta FC have failed to record a win since May 14. Despite scoring seven goals in their last four, the once top-of-the-table Ibises are struggling to finish off their opponents.
