TUCSON, Ariz. – In just their third-ever meeting, North Carolina FC (2-2-1, 6th) escaped FC Tucson (1-3-1, 11th) at Kino North Stadium with all three points thanks to a pair of late goals to answer the home side's quick start.

Tucson blew the game wide open less than 10 minutes into the match as Daniel Bedoya slipped a great ball across the face of goal to find Deri Corfe staring into a wide-open net. The visitors, however, turned it on late with a pair of scores to secure the NCFC victory. The equalizer came from Jaden Servania with just over 20 minutes to play, and the dagger came from a converted Oalex Anderson penalty in stoppage time.
