Late penalty conversion from Aaron Walker difference in defensive match

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Greenville Triumph SC (1-2-1, 9th) stole all three points from Chattanooga Red Wolves SC (2-2-1, 2nd) on Friday evening at Triumph Stadium thanks to a late penalty conversion from Aaron Walker. The victory means Greenville extends their unbeaten streak against Chattanooga to eight.

An evenly contested match was defined by last-minute heroics from the home side to secure its first League One win of the season. Scoreless through the 80th minute with less than four shots on target, a clumsy tackle from Red Wolves forward Juan Galindrez in the penalty area sent Aaron Walker to the spot. The Triumph SC original sent Chattanooga's Carlos Avilez the wrong way, calmly nestling the match-winning score into the left corner of the net.
