He attended Canby High School and was lettered all four years, earned second-team all-state honors and was named first team and second-team all-conference.

“I’m extremely excited to be here. I played against Fuego when I was in college and the fans were absolutely buzzing so I can’t wait to play in that atmosphere,” said North. “Everyone has been very welcoming so far. It already feels like a family.”

Julian Chavez, originally from Sacramento, Calif., played two seasons with USL Championship side Sacramento Republic FC recording 14 appearances.

At the club level, the 22-year-old was also a member of the Sacramento Republic Academy U-14 from 2014 to 2019. Chavez also competed for Seattle Sounders Academy in 2019. He played for Sacramento United Soccer and Elk Grove Soccer Club.

“I feel very excited to play for a club like Fuego that has such a passionate football community,” said Chavez. “I’m eager to get on the field and score in front of the fans!”

A Fresno native, Marco Torralva played collegiately at the University of California, Merced. He captained the team for three seasons recording 74 appearances, 70 starts, 11 goals and 14 assists. He also competed with Valley FC of UPSL during their inaugural and undefeated season. He helped lead his team to win the 2021 Western Conference - Norcal South - Premier Division. The 25-year-old also played for Academica SC of the NPSL.

“Being able to play for the Fuego is something that is very special to me,” said Torralva. “From growing up and watching Fuego games to now being able to play for them in front of my friends and family is extremely humbling and exciting. I can’t wait to get to work and put out a product that our community can stand behind and be proud of.”
