Midfielder Ozzie Ramos Joins Central Valley Fuego FC

FRESNO, Calif. – Central Valley Fuego FC announced on Friday it has signed midfielder Ozzie Ramos as the club continues to build its roster ahead of its inaugural 2022 USL League One season. The signing is pending league and federation approval.

Originally from Ceres, Calif., Ramos played collegiately at San Diego State University and Seattle University. Professionally he made his debut for San Diego 1904 FC of the National Independent Soccer Association in 2019

“Eager and excited to give my everything to represent and play in front of my family, friends and an entire community passionate about fútbol and Fuego,” said Ramos.

Ramos most recently played for and captained San Diego 1904 FC, where he made 38 appearances.  The 25-year-old also spent time at Club Atlético Jalisco in Liga de Balompié Mexicano.

While competing for the Redhawks collegiately, Ramos recorded six goals and 15 assists in 78 appearances across four seasons. As a Central Valley High School standout, Ramos logged 55 goals and 47 assists– Ramos was named Conference MVP, All-District MVP for Stanislaus County, and Team MVP two consecutive seasons.
