MADISON, Wis. - Forward Madison FC on Thursday announced the re-signing of defender Eric Leonard pending league and federation approval.

Returning for his fourth season with the club, Leonard has represented Forward Madison since its inaugural season in 2019 and has accumulated the second-most appearances and minutes in club history behind captain Connor Tobin.

In 2021, Leonard had the second-most clearances amongst Flamingo defenders and lead the club in interceptions. In Week 25 of the 2021 League One season, Leonard was awarded Team of the Week honors for a stellar defensive performance against Greenville Triumph SC.
