League One Player of the Month Nominees – October

After a riveting final month of the season, five nominees stood out. Which gets your vote?

TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One announced on Thursday the five nominees for the Cleer Audio League One Player of the Month award for October, with top performers from the season’s final full month selected for the ballot.

Voting for the Cleer Audio League One Player of the Month Award will be conducted by the following two voting bodies:

  • A fan vote on USLLeagueOne.com will comprise 60 percent of the poll. The fan vote will run through Monday, November 8 at 12 p.m. ET.

  • The USL Technical Committee’s ballots comprise 40 percent of the poll.

The award winner and complete voting results will be announced on Tuesday, November 9.

Please note: The Cleer Audio League One Player of the Month selection process in no way is tied directly to the voting and selection process of End of the Year awards such as League One Most Valuable Player or position players of the year.

USL League One Player of the Month – October

Evan Conway, Union Omaha – Conway recorded a pair of hat tricks in the month and finished with seven goals in six appearances overall while finishing with a +1.60 Goals Added mark for the month – good for seventh overall – as Omaha earned first place in the League One standings.

Emiliano Terzaghi, Richmond Kickers – Terzaghi recorded five goals in his final six games of the season to help the Kickers earn a postseason berth and claim his second consecutive League One Golden Boot with a record 17 goals for the season. The Argentine also recorded a league-best +2.63 Goals Added mark over the month.

Azaad Liadi, South Georgia Tormenta FC – Liadi recorded three goals in three games as Tormenta rounded out its season, averaging a goal every 85.7 minutes while also notching six key passes. Liadi ranked third in the league over the month with a 1.74 Goals Added mark.

Kobe Franklin, Toronto FC II – The Canada youth international had one goal and four assists across the month while recording 11 key passes and contributing to three shutouts in five appearances as Toronto’s postseason bid came up just short.

Devin Boyce, Union Omaha – Boyce led League One with five assists during the month and also notched one goal while finishing second to Molloy with 17 key passes. Boyce posted a 1.63 Goals Added mark for the month, six-best in the league.
