TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One announced on Thursday the five nominees for the Cleer Audio League One Player of the Month award for September, with top performers from the season’s fifth full month selected for the ballot.

Voting for the Cleer Audio League One Player of the Month Award will be conducted by the following two voting bodies:

• A fan vote on USLLeagueOne.com will comprise 60 percent of the poll. The fan vote will run through Monday, October 11 at 12 p.m. ET.

• The USL Technical Committee’s ballots comprise 40 percent of the poll.

The award winner and complete voting results will be announced on Thursday, October 14.

Please note: The Cleer Audio League One Player of the Month selection process in no way is tied directly to the voting and selection process of End of the Year awards such as League One Most Valuable Player or position players of the year.

USL League One Player of the Month - September

Deri Corfe, FC Tucson – Corfe recorded three goals in five games as Tucson went undefeated while completing 96 of 116 passes (82.8%) and posting 15 shots and nine shots on target for a +1.51 Goals Added mark, the best on his side and fourth-highest in the league across the month.

Aaron Walker, Greenville Triumph SC – Aaron Walker had four goals in four appearances for Greenville as the side went undefeated in the month, while also completing 138 of 160 passes (86.3%) and five key passes.

Damian Rivera, New England Revolution II – Rivera recorded two goals and one assist in six appearances but was a driving force behind the club’s move into the playoff positions, completing a league-high 16 key passes and 111 of 136 passes overall (81.6%) and a league-high 19 of 30 dribbles to register a +1.29 Goals Added mark, tied for fifth in the league.

Damià Viader, Union Omaha – The Spanish defender continued his outstanding season with three goals and two assists in four appearances while recording four shots on target out of five overall and five chances created and completing 115 of 150 passes (76.7%).

Azaad Liadi, South Georgia Tormenta FC – Azaad Liadi recorded three goals in three games at an average of a goal every 80.3 minutes, with his goals coming on his three shots on target for the month as the 23-year-old also completed 75.6 percent of his passes in an undefeated month for South Georgia.
