Goals from three different scorers earned a win for the Owls

PAPILLION, Neb. - Union Omaha defeated Fort Lauderdale CF 4-1 on Wednesday night at Werner Park to consolidate its grip on top spot in the table.

Fort Lauderdale opened the scoring in the 24th minute when Mitchell Curry set up Shaan Hundal, but the lead would prove to be short-lived.

Evan Conway drew los Búhos level 11 minutes later, and Greg Hurst put Omaha on top before halftime. Devin Boyce then popped up to double the home side's cushion four minutes into the second half, and Hurst would get his second tally of the night in the 58th minute to put the destination of the three points beyond doubt.

Both teams are back in action at the weekend, with Omaha hosting Greenville Triumph SC on Saturday and FTLCF returning home to face South Georgia Tormenta FC on Sunday.
