RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond Kickers moved above the playoff line with a 1-0 win over Forward Madison FC on Wednesday night at City Stadium.

Emiliano Terzaghi got the Kickers going early with his 25th career regular season goal, becoming the first League One player to reach that mark. The prolific Argentine popped up in the 8th minute to tuck home Chris Cole's cross from close range.

After taking the lead, the Kickers continued their habit of shutting down their opponent defensively. Despite Madison having more of the possession throughout the match, Richmond prevented the Flamingos from registering a single shot on target, recording its third straight shutout win by a 1-0 scoreline.

Richmond returns to action on Sunday with a trip to take on North Texas SC, while Madison continues its road trip against the New England Revolution II next Tuesday.
