Greenville won its second straight game courtesy of a first half strike

GREENVILLE, S.C. - A first-half goal from JJ Donnelly earned Greenville Triumph SC a 1-0 win over Chattanooga Red Wolves SC on Saturday night at Legacy Early College.

The game was fairly even until Chattanooga was reduced to 10 players. Sebastian Capozucchi was sent off for a rash challenge, and moments later Triumph SC produced a slick team move which Donnelly finished off to give Greenville the lead in the 30th minute.

The numbers were evened up once again in the second half, as Don Smart received a red card for Greenville. But Triumph SC were able to see out the result nonetheless, earning their second-straight win to get momentum pointed firmly in the right direction.

Both teams have home matches coming up on their respective schedules, with Chattanooga hosting North Carolina FC next Saturday and Greenville facing FC Tucson next Sunday.
