Goals from Adams and Bedoya saw Tucson jump seven spots in the standings

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - FC Tucson came from behind to win 2-1 against the New England Revolution II on Wednesday night at Gillette Stadium.

Damian Rivera got the hosts off to a great start in the 10th minute. The 18-year-old picked up the ball a long way from goal and hit a precise strike which snuck inside the post to give New England the lead.

Tucson would draw level just before the break though, when Daniel Bedoya unselfishly laid the ball off to Shak Adams in the box. Adams fired a powerful shot into the roof of the net to tie the game heading into halftime, his third goal in his last two games.

Just four minutes into the second half, Bedoya went from provider to scorer, burying a fantastic free kick from the edge of the area in the top corner to put Tucson in front. From there, the visitors managed the game well, and saw out the result for their third consecutive win.

The victory moves Tucson from 11th to fourth place in the League One standings, and makes them the first team to come from behind to beat the Revolution II this season.

Both sides are back in action at the weekend, with Tucson visiting North Texas SC on Saturday and New England hosting South Georgia Tormenta FC on Sunday.
