TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One announced on Saturday night that the contest between Union Omaha and Forward Madison FC had been abandoned in the 58th minute due to heavy rain and lightning which prevented the two teams from finishing the second half of play.
Under USL League One rules, the game – which Omaha led 1-0 at the time of its suspension – will be replayed in its entirety from the opening kickoff. A date for the rescheduled contest will be announced in the coming days.
