The Kickers overcame a two-goal second half deficit with goals from Emiliano Terzaghi and Oalex Anderson

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Richmond Kickers overcame a two-goal second half deficit to earn an entertaining 2-2 draw with South Georgia Tormenta FC on Saturday night at Erk Russell Park.

Tormenta got off to the perfect start in front of its fans as Azaad Liadi won the home side a penalty kick inside two minutes of play. Marco Micaletto stepped up and confidently dispatched it to put South Georgia ahead with his seventh goal of the season.

In the second half, a wild sequence saw both teams score in a two-minute span. Kobe Perez doubled Tormenta's lead on 62 minutes, but Richmond would immediately respond through talisman Emiliano Terzaghi. The Argentine improvised brilliantly to adjust his body, taking a cross from Matt Bolduc out of the air and scoring from a seemingly impossible angle.

Richmond would then complete its comeback late on. Oalex Anderson tucked away a loose ball in the box to level the score in the 88th minute, and the two sides split the points when the final whistle sounded.

After a two-game road swing, Richmond will now return home for a meeting with FC Tucson next Saturday. Tormenta has a two-week break before the team will head to Greenville for its fourth and final game against Triumph SC this season.
