TAMPA, Fla. - USL League One announced on Monday the Team of the Week Presented by Cleer Audio for Week 14 of the 2021 regular season, with North Texas SC defender Kazu named Player of the Week after scoring two goals in the second half of his team’s 4-1 win against Forward Madison FC on Saturday night at Globe Life Park.
Introduced as a halftime substitute, Kazu finished off a lovely team move in the 64th minute to increase North Texas’ lead to three. 10 minutes later, the fullback picked up the ball in space on the left flank and fired an accurate low strike to the bottom-right corner, completing a rampant team attacking performance.

GK - Paul Christensen, Greenville Triumph SC: In his first appearance for Triumph SC, Christensen kept a five-save shutout to earn his side a point at home against North Carolina FC.
D - Kazu, North Texas SC: In addition to his brace, Kazu completed 91 percent of his passes and made four recoveries to spur his side to a big win.
D - Brandon Fricke, Greenville Triumph SC: Fricke made five tackles, won 9 of 13 duels, and made six clearances against North Carolina FC, playing a key role in Greenville’s shutout defensive performance.
D - Eddie Munjoma, North Texas SC: Munjoma scored the second of North Texas’ four goals on Saturday night, won five duels, made three clearances, and passed at an 86 percent accuracy rate.

M - Daniel Bedoya, FC Tucson: Bedoya coolly converted a late penalty kick to set the stage for Tucson’s dramatic comeback in a 2-2 draw against Chattanooga. The midfielder also won five duels and made nine recoveries.
F - Juan Galindrez, Chattanooga Red Wolves SC: Galindrez scored Chattanooga’s second goal in some style, squeezing in a header from a tight angle. He also won 7 of 10 duels and successfully completed 4 of 4 dribbles.
F - Gibran Rayo, North Texas SC: Rayo opened the scoring in the second minute of North Texas SC’s four-goal performance, and assisted Kazu for the team’s third goal midway through the second half.
