GREENVILLE, S.C. - In their third meeting of the 2021 season, Greenville Triumph SC and North Carolina FC played to a 0-0 draw on Saturday night at Legacy Early College.

The first half was cagey and featured few chances, as each team registered just a single shot on goal through the opening 45 minutes. The tempo picked up a bit on the other side of halftime, with Greenville goalkeeper Paul Christensen making a trio of important saves in his first appearance for the club.

But despite a handful of other opportunities for each team in the closing stages, neither was able to find the net, and the game ended in a scoreless draw.

Both sides have home games coming up next Saturday, with Greenville hosting South Georgia Tormenta FC and NCFC welcoming Toronto FC II to WakeMed Soccer Park.
