USL League One Player of the Month – June

Marios Lomis, Greenville Triumph SC – League One's Player of the Month from April/May is up for the award for a second consecutive month after continuing his sizzling run of form in front of goal. The Dutchman recorded three goals and an assist in five games in June, including scoring in three consecutive games.

Jayden Nelson, Toronto FC II – Nelson showed himself to be a difference maker for TFC II – in five June games with him on the field, the Young Reds went 3-1-1, as opposed to 0-2-2 in the four games in which Nelson didn’t feature. He tallied three goals and an assist during the month, including a brace against South Georgia Tormenta FC on June 23.

Juan Galindrez, Chattanooga Red Wolves SC – "Galigol" scored three goals in just 123 total minutes on the field in the month of June. One of those was an 89th-minute winner against FC Tucson, and the other two turned a 1-0 deficit to a 2-1 lead late on against North Carolina FC. His penchant for popping up late has greatly benefited Chattanooga in its pursuit of first place in the League One standings.

Greg Hurst, Union Omaha – The Scottish striker enjoyed a fantastic June, scoring four goals in five appearances for Omaha to take him up to second place in the race for the League One Golden Boot. That tally included the season’s first hat trick in a 4-2 win over New England and the game-winner in a 1-0 win over Tucson.

Jay Tee Kamara, North Carolina FC – The 19-year-old was a big reason why NCFC saw an uptick in form throughout June. Kamara tallied two goals, two assists, and 11 chances created in four appearances, including a goal and an assist against Richmond to help NCFC come back for its first League One victory.
