STATESBORO, Ga. - A contest that saw the hosts largely control possession and take the lion's share of the games chances, neither South Georgia Tormenta FC nor North Carolina FC were able to find the back of the net as the pair settle for a point for each.

Tormenta outweighed NCFC heavily in possession and shots taken in the first half, but the second half brought the best chances for the home side. Once again producing more in attack, Tormenta registered three shots to North Carolina's one with the most opportune coming from the penalty spot in the 80th minute. Normally reliable from in and around the penalty area, Tormenta's Marco Micaletto stepped up and was unable to put his effort on frame as the game's best chance went begging.

Both teams have away fixtures against regional rivals up next, with NCFC playing Greenville Triumph SC on July 10 and Tormenta taking on Chattanooga Red Wolves SC on July 14.
