The Scottish forward scored early to help his side stretch its unbeaten run to five games

PAPILLION, Neb. - Greg Hurst's early goal saw Union Omaha defeat FC Tucson 1-0 on Saturday night at Werner Park.

A brilliant bit of combination play between Greg Hurst and Ferrety Sousa created what would be the game's only goal in the 6th minute. Hurst picked up the ball near midfield and played a pass to Sousa down the right flank.

The Scottish striker then sprinted to the penalty area, and Sousa's pinpoint cross was met by Hurst's header to earn three points for Omaha.

Both sides have home games to look forward to next Saturday. Omaha welcomes Chattanooga Red Wolves SC to Werner Park in a battle of two teams near the top of the table, while FC Tucson will host Fort Lauderdale CF at Kino North Stadium.
