Promotion to help raise awareness for PNG's Energy Assistance Program

Greenville, SC - The Greenville Triumph and Piedmont Natural Gas have partnered together to create the "Lucky Fan of the Match" promotion, an in-game element set to occur at halftime of every Triumph home match. During halftime, one lucky fan in attendance will receive a team-autographed scarf that includes information on how to support the Piedmont Natural Gas Share the Warmth program.

"We are excited to partner with Piedmont Natural Gas for the Lucky Fan of the Match promotion," said Chief Revenue Officer, Chris Baretta. "This collaborative partnership is centered around community, and we are happy to help raise awareness regarding Piedmont’s Share the Warmth program while also providing joy to our fans in-stadium," he continued. "We are thrilled to activate this promotion and support this campaign for our 2021 Triumph season and beyond."

“Piedmont Natural Gas is proud to team with the Triumph for another action-packed season,” said Hank McCullough, community relations manager for Piedmont Natural Gas. “The Triumph has amazing fans, so we’re pleased to recognize the Lucky Fan of the Match while also shining a spotlight on Share the Warmth, which has done so much to help our neighbors in need in the Greenville community.”

Share the Warmth is Piedmont’s energy-assistance program that helps low-income individuals and families pay their monthly energy bills, regardless of the energy source used in the home. Piedmont Natural Gas believes no one should struggle to pay their energy bills. As such, neighbors can sign up for the company's Round Up program, which will round up your natural gas bill to the nearest dollar amount and donate the difference to an approved Share the Warmth agency within your community. One hundred percent of donations go towards helping people within the community pay their energy bills. Since 2003, Piedmont, its customers and its foundation have donated more than $4.05 million toward the Share the Warmth program. Enrolling in the Share the Warmth Round Up program costs no more than $12 per year.
