The Canadian striker continued a rich vein of form, scoring his third and fourth goals of the season

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. - Two goals from striker Shaan Hundal saw Fort Lauderdale CF pick up a 2-1 win over the Richmond Kickers on Sunday night at DRV PNK Stadium.

Richmond had two decent chances early, with Emiliano Terzaghi nearly scoring while falling down and Oalex Anderson flashing a low drive from distance just wide of the post.

But it was Fort Lauderdale which broke the deadlock 20 minutes through Hundal. The in-form striker pounced on a rebound and extended his scoring streak to three games, continuing a rich vein of form in front of goal.

Richmond pushed for an equalizer throughout the remainder of the first half and into the second, and finally found it on 75 minutes. It was Nil Vinyals who opened his Kickers' account when his low shot trickled through the hands of Fort Lauderdale goalkeeper Luis Zamudio.

But the two sides were level for only eight minutes before Hundal came to the rescue again. A flicked-on corner kick found the Canadian alone at the back post, and he fired home to restore Fort Lauderdale's advantage. Despite some late Richmond pressure, the hosts saw out the game to claim their second win of the young season.
