Danish sportswear brand to provide match and training gear for Greenville

Greenville, SC - Greenville Triumph SC has agreed to a multi-year deal with Danish sportswear brand hummel to become the club’s official outfitter of match and training gear for the 2021 season and beyond. hummel is an internationally-recognized soccer brand that works with numerous professional clubs across the world, most notably Everton of the English Premier League.

hummel will supply match uniforms, training gear, and select retail offerings for the Triumph. Greenville joins Forward Madison as the second USL League One club to be outfitted by hummel, with the Wisconsin side’s partnership beginning shortly before the 2019 season.

“We’re very excited to unveil this multi-year deal with hummel,” said Triumph chief brand officer Doug Erwin. “They’re a well-respected soccer company and we’re thrilled to partner and help each of our brands continue to grow in the United States. We look forward to working with them to develop unique and creative kit designs for our players and fans.”

The Triumph and hummel are also partnering to create opportunities in the youth soccer space through Triumph community partner organization Spartanburg United. The Spartanburg United College Scholarship, which will be presented by hummel, will provide financial assistance to the college or university choice of the year's recipient.

“hummel has been inspired since 1923 to work with franchises that reach beyond the pitch and our new partnership with the Triumph does just that,”  commented hummel country manager Jeff Duback.  “We look forward to expressing our brand karma and working to ‘change the world through sport’ with Greenville through our products, unique design and community outreach.”

Triumph-branded hummel merchandise will be available in the coming weeks online at shopgreenvilletriumph.com. The club plans to unveil new uniforms in early 2021.
