TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One announced on Thursday the five nominees for the League One Player of the Month award for October, with top performers from the last full month of the league’s second season selected for the ballot.
Voting in the League One Player of the Month Award will be conducted by the following two voting bodies:
The award winner and complete voting results will be announced on Thursday,
October 8.
Please note: The League One Player of the Month selections process in no way is tied directly to the voting and selection process of End of the Year awards such as League One Most Valuable Player or position players of the year.
USL League One Player of the Month – September
Emiliano Terzaghi, Richmond Kickers – Terzaghi recorded four goals in four games and had five chances created while completing 47 of 64 passes overall as the Kickers moved into second place in the League One standings.
Alex Morrell, Greenville Triumph SC – Morrell helped Greenville to a perfect month with one goal and three assists in four games and had seven chances created while completing 10 of 15 dribbles.
Elivelton, FC Tucson – Elivelton had a breakout month as he scored three goals in six games and created five chances while completing 146 of 178 passes throughout the month.
Marky Hernandez, Chattanooga Red Wolves SC – Hernandez recorded three assists in four matches, had seven chances created and completed 4 of 6 dribbles to help keep the Red Wolves in contention for the League One Final.
Eduardo Sosa, Fort Lauderdale CF – Sosa scored two goals and recorded one assist in five games, completed 11 of 23 dribbles and had six chances created while completing 139 of 175 passes overall.
