TAMPA, Fla. – The opening month of League One’s second season saw 74 goals scored across 28 matches. You chose five of the best goals from August in the weekly polls, now it’s time to decide which one claims the League One Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month award.

Nil Vinyals (TRM) - #TRMvORL, 8/1/20: After Tormenta FC failed to score in 135 minutes across two matches, Nil Vinyals finally broke through in spectacular fashion smashing a well-struck shot from distance into the top corner and beating goalkeeper Austin Aviza
Ricky Lopez-Espin (FTL) - #TRMvFTL, 8/8/20: Lopez Espin scored the eventual game-winner from midfield, lobbing goalkeeper Pablo Jara from 60 yards out to score his second of the year and help Fort Lauderdale earn its first win in club history.
Ivan Magalhaes (RIC) - #RICvTUC, 8/15/20: Magalhaes nodded home Mutaya Mwape’s out-swinging serve from the left flank from near the penalty spot to open the scoring in Richmond’s 2-1 win over FC Tucson.
Edwin Cerrillo (NTX), #NTXvOMA, 8/23/20: Cerrillo took a touch to settle a Union Omaha clearance before smacking a stinging shot from 35 yards out that beat goalkeeper Rashid Nuhu in the 2-2 draw in Arlington.
Devin Boyce (OMA), #OMAvTUC, 8/29/20: Boyce ran onto Elma N’For’s knock down inside the penalty area and cleverly curled a volley with the outside of his right boot, beating Carlos Merancio at his far post to score his first professional goal.
Noah Pilato (GVL), 8/22/20: Pilato connected perfectly with a half volley from the top of the 18-yard box, scoring the game’s only goal in fantastic fashion to help Greenville earn a third consecutive win with a 1-0 result over Fort Lauderdale CF.
