TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One announced on Thursday the five nominees for the League One Player of the Month award for August, with top performers from the first full month of the league’s second season selected for the ballot.
Voting in the USL Player of the Month Award will be conducted by the following two voting bodies:
The award winner and complete voting results will be announced on Thursday, September 10.
Please note: The League One Player of the Month selections process in no way is tied directly to the voting and selection process of End of the Year awards such as League One Most Valuable Player or position players of the year.
USL League One Player of the Month – August
Emiliano Terzaghi, Richmond Kickers – Terzaghi recorded four goals in four games, completed 7 of 12 dribbles and had two chances created while completing 51 of 73 passes overall as the Kickers made a perfect run through the month.
Ricky Lopez-Espin, Fort Lauderdale CF – Lopez-Espin helped Fort Lauderdale to a successful month with four goals in four games, three chances created and an overall 47 of 63 passes completed.
Greg Hurst, Chattanooga Red Wolves SC – Hurst recorded three goals and two assists for the Red Wolves, while also recording eight chances created and 12 shots overall for the month.
Ethan Vanacore-Decker, Union Omaha – Vanacore-Decker recorded two goals and a league-high four assists throughout the month, recording 10 chances created overall and completing 46 of 58 passes as Los Buhos remained undefeated.
Dallas Jaye, Greenville Triumph SC – Jaye recorded three shutouts in five appearances and recorded 13 saves across the month as Triumph SC remained in first place overall in League One.
