Greenville holds onto top slot ahead of midweek rivalry clash with Tormenta FC

TAMPA, Fla. – You want to gauge how quickly this season’s going to move? On Wednesday night, Greenville Triumph SC and South Georgia Tormenta FC will already be one-quarter of the way through their schedules.

That meeting will see two of the top three teams in the League One Power Rankings square off with Greenville still on top after its road draw with Madison and Tormenta FC jumping up to No. 3 after its win against Orlando City B. Union Omaha gets the performance of the week award for Week 3, meanwhile, thanks to its stellar inaugural home opener against North Texas SC on Saturday night.

Here’s how things look this week. As always, feel free to come and yell at me on Twitter (@NJEMurray).
