Jaye, Marceta earn clean sheets in first match at Hart Park

Forward Madison FC and Greenville Triumph SC played to a scoreless draw Saturday night at Hart Park in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

Greenville had the first chance of the match after goalkeeper Philipp Marceta handled a back pass, giving the Tirumph an indirect kick from ten yards out. Abdi Mohamed struck the indirect kick on frame, but Marceta parried it away out of danger.

J.C. Banks went close for Madison in the 31st minute, heading Louis Bennett's cross just wide of the near post.

Both sides struggled to create going forward in the second half and combined for one shot on target in the final 45 minutes.

Forward Madison earns its first point of the season with the draw, while Greenville Triumph remains at the top of the table with seven points. Dallas Jaye kept his second clean sheet of the season and Marceta earned his first.
