As the USL League One season enters its second week, which will see ten teams in action, clubs are making additions to their squads. Union Omaha, FC Tucson, and Greenville Triumph SC all announced signings this week, here’s a roundup of the moves:

Union Omaha Signs Devin Boyce

Union Omaha announced the addition of midfielder Devin Boyce on Tuesday afternoon. The expansion club will play its inaugural match against fellow League One newcomer the New England Revolution II Saturday at 5 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium.

Boyce joins Omaha following a fantastic collegiate career split between New Mexico University and Saint Louis University. The Saint Louis, Missouri native scored nine goals and added seven assists in 32 appearances for SLU during his junior and senior seasons and was named First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-Region in 2018. Prior to transferring to SLU, Boyce tallied five goals and seven assists in 39 matches played for the Lobos.

Boyce played 14 matches for Brazos Valley Calvary FC in USL League Two during the summer of 2019, scoring four goals and adding seven assists and leading the team to a deep playoff run. The 5-foot-10 midfielder also spent the 2020 preseason with Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC of the USL Championship.

Tucson Adds Three to 2020 Roster

FC Tucson has signed Samuel Biek, Jordan Hill, and Tommy Silva ahead of the club’s opening match of the 2020 season. Biek, Hill, and Silva join the roster as the club prepares for its match against Fort Lauderdale CF on Saturday at Inter Miami CF Stadium.

Biek, a center back from Marburg, Germany, joins FTC after completing his collegiate career at Western Michigan University where he played 19 matches his senior season. Prior to transferring to WMU, Biek scored 20 goals and recorded four assists in 63 career games at Bethel University.

Hill brings League One experience to Tucson Head Coach John Galas’ side after playing 15 matches for Orlando City B in 2019. Prior to joining the professional ranks, the 6-foot-1 defender played 65 matches for the Davidson Wildcats, earning Atlantic-10 First Team All-Conference honors following his senior season.

Silva joins FCT from the Real Salt Lake - Arizona Academy. The Tucson native is a defender fresh out of high school -- Silva graduated in 2020.

Triumph SC Adds Conor Dowler on Academy Contract

Greenville Triumph SC announced that Conor Dowler had re-signed with the club on an academy contract ahead of its home opener against the Richmond Kickers on Saturday night.

The 6-foot-0 midfielder, who is committed to play at Furman University this coming fall, previously signed with the professional club on an academy contract in September of 2019. Dowler has trained with the Triumph throughout the hiatus from play and registered an assist in a July 11 exhibition against the Charlotte Independence of the USL Championship.
