Are you ready to test your prognostication skills against our team of experts and have the chance to win an Official Select Match Ball? Good, because USL eCup: Rocket League Edition is here for the knockout stages of this groundbreaking online event.

We’ve asked our panel of experts to pick all eight of the matchups in the Round of 16, which kicks off on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN3 and runs throughout the rest of this week. There are also four games we’ve selected for the fans to make picks on

Our panel consists of four experts each week:

Nicholas Murray is the USL’s Director of Content and brings an encyclopedic knowledge of the league’s history from his decade working for the organization. He’s also somewhat of an eSports guru.

Mike Watts is the play-by-play voice of the USL eCup: Rocket League Edition, taking his vast experience in soccer broadcasting – including being the voice of the USL Championship since the USL Championship Final in 2015 – and bringing it to the online realm.

Kelsi Steele is the host of USL Podcast Steele Some Time, and as the USL’s Senior Manager of Social Media and Content she’s already gotten to know two of the players – Phoenix Rising FC’s Joey Farrell and Birmingham Legion FC’s Kaylor Hodges – in the Round of 16 with USL eCup Zoom Interviews.

Devon Kerr is a former player turned broadcaster who serves as the lead analyst on the USL eCup: Rocket League Edition, bringing his expert knowledge of the game – and key analysis of each player’s boost button strategies – to the action.

How can you be a winner? Simply pick the results of the eight selected Round of 16 games, and as a tiebreaker, predict which game will feature the most total goals scored between the two sides.

Four lucky winners each week will win an official Select Match Ball.

Winners will be notified by email next Monday (4/20) and will have three days to claim their tickets before another winner is chosen. The competition voting closes at 6:00 PM ET on Tuesday (4/14) before all the action kicks off on ESPN3.
