New England Revolution II has signed Revolution Academy midfielder Dennis Ramirez, the club announced Wednesday. Ramirez joins Meny Silva as the two current Revolution Academy players to sign with the League One side. 

Ramirez joined the Revolution Academy in 2018 and quickly became an integral member of the Under-19 side. The 18-year old midfielder made 33 appearances and 30 starts for the Academy over the past two seasons and appeared in all four Revs II exhibition matches. Ramirez has played as both a defender and a holding midfielder during his time with the Revolution Academy. 

Revolution II will open its inaugural season on Saturday, March 28 against Orlando City B at Gillette Stadium.
