Greenville Triumph SC has signed midfielder Noah Pilato to a one-year contract, the club announced Tuesday. Pilato most recently played for USL Championship club, Loudoun United.

"Noah has been a breath of fresh air,” said Greenville Triumph Head Coach John Harkes. “Not only does he possess technical ability, but also a great work rate and experience with USL Championship. He's a hungry player that wants to be challenged and pushed, and I'm excited to get him in a Greenville Triumph uniform."

Pilato appeared in 13 matches for Loudoun United in 2019, playing 921 minutes and scoring one goal. Prior to joining the professional ranks, Pilato helped Penn State University to a 12-4-3 record and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament in his senior season. Pilato played 49 matches over the course of four years for the Nittany Lions.

"I am very eager to do my part in helping the club sustain the success it has had on the field and within the community,” said Pilato. “With the core group of returning players and a few new pieces added to the puzzle, this team has endless potential."

Pilato has been training with the Triumph throughout preseason and scored a goal to help the side to a 2-1 win over North Carolina FC last weekend.
