New England Revolution II has signed goalkeeper Keegan Meyer for the 2020 season, the club announced Monday. New England selected Meyer with the 43rd overall pick in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft in January.
Meyer signs his first professional contract with Revolution II after completing a four-year career at High Point University. The 6-3 goalkeeper started 74 matches for High Point and earned a program record 43 clean sheets. Meyer earned several all-conference and all-area honors throughout his collegiate career.
Meyer is the 11th player to be added to New England’s inaugural League One roster, joining a mix of academy products and established professionals with USL Championship experience. Revolution II kicks off its first season on Saturday, March 28 against Orlando City B.
