League One Goalkeeper of the Year will return to Greenville in 2020

Greenville Triumph SC has re-signed 2019 USL League One Goalkeeper of the Year Dallas Jaye, the club announced Monday. The new contract will bring Jaye back to South Carolina for the 2020 season and includes an option for 2021.

Jaye earned First Team All-League and Goalkeeper of the Year honors after keeping a league-high 13 clean sheets in 27 regular season matches. He added a 14th shutout in the playoffs, leading his side to a 1-0 win over Lansing Ignite FC to clinch a place in the first-ever League One Final. The Danville, Calif. native also won the League One Golden Glove award, finishing the regular season with a league-best 0.78 goals against average.

"Dallas transitioned very well into being a number one 'keeper this season," said Greenville Head Coach John Harkes. "I'm expecting him to take on even more responsibility on and off the field next year and we're excited to have him back on board for the 2020 season."

Jaye joins fellow First Team All-League honoree Tyler Polak as well as Jake Keegan, Paul Clowes, and Evan Lee on Greenville’s current 2020 roster.
