League One GK of the Year set to return in 2020 with new contract

Greenville, SC - Greenville Triumph SC has re-signed 2019 League One Goalkeeper of the Year and Golden Glove winner Dallas Jaye for the 2020 season with an option for 2021, pending league and federation approval. Jaye joins returning players Tyler Polak, Jake Keegan, Evan Lee and Paul Clowes on Greenville's 2020 roster.

The Danville, California native and Guam international saw 2,610 minutes across 29 starts during the team's inaugural season. Jaye led the league in shutouts, tallying 14 clean sheets with 52 saves, a 70% success rate. The Triumph standout compiled numerous accolades throughout the 2019 season including August's Player of the Month, League One's Golden Glove and Goalkeeper of the Year awards in his first full season as a starting keeper.

"Dallas transitioned very well into being a number one keeper this season," said coach John Harkes. "I'm expecting him to take on even more responsibility on and off the field next year and we're excited to have him back on board for the 2020 season."

Jaye's strong performances with Greenville earned international recognition, as he received three 2019 call-ups to compete with The Matao during the 2022 World Cup and 2023 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers.

Jaye came to Greenville in 2019 after spending the 2018 season with Phoenix Rising in the USL Championship. Jaye previously played with Head Coach John Harkes at FC Cincinnati in 2016.
