Greenville, SC - The Triumph have announced plans to field a team of Upstate youth all-star soccer players to participate in the 2020 USL Academy Cup, a new initiative taking place in Tampa, Florida in May.

The Greenville Triumph Soccer Club will field an all-star team of boys aged 12 and under to represent the Upstate and participate in the team's first ever Academy Cup program. The program will be a 10-12 week experience where athletes will get a glimpse into the professional soccer world and travel to compete in a national event during Memorial Day Weekend, 2020. Travel and uniform costs for the players will be paid for by the Triumph.

Tryouts for the Academy Cup program are $10 and will be held on December 7th and 8th from 2:00-4:00pm at Legacy Early College Field. More details and FAQs can be found here.
