TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One goal scorers continued to find the back of the net in stunning fashion as the league concluded its inaugural season in October. We’ve selected five of the best goals from the final month, now you get to vote for the goal that will earn the League One Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month award.
Voting will continue through 12 p.m. ET on Monday, October 28th.
USL League One Fans’ Choice Goal of the Month Finalists – October
Arturo Rodriguez (NTX) - #NTXvGVL, 10/19/19: Rodriguez picked up a loose ball at the top of the 18-yard box and tucked a first-time finish into the bottom corner of Dallas Jaye’s goal to score the eventual title-winning goal at Toyota Stadium.
Carlos Gomez (GVL) - #TRMvGVL, 10/5/19: Gomez ran onto Cameron Saul’s slip pass and curled a right-footed shot into the top corner of Pablo Jara’s net to score Greenville’s only goal in a 3-1 loss to Tormenta FC.
Ricardo Pepi (NTX) - #NTXvMAD, 10/12/19: Pepi received a clever pass from Oscar Romero before taking a big first touch to his right to create space for a low, cross-body shot that found the bottom corner of Brian Sylvestre’s goal in the USL League One Semifinal.
Chris Bermudez (GVL) - #LANvGVL, 10/12/19: Bermudez made no mistake after Carlos Gomez found him with a square pass inside the penalty area, calmly rolling a first-time shot past Stefan Cleveland to help Greenville advance to the USL League One Final with a 1-0 win over Lansing Ignite FC.
J.C. Banks (MAD) - #LANvMAD, 10/5/19: Banks finished Don Smart’s cutback at the near post to clinch a playoff spot for Forward Madison FC on the final day of the regular season.
