USL League One Discipline Report – Week 17

TAMPA, Fla. – The following is the USL League One discipline report for Week 17 of the 2019 USL League One season:

Lansing Ignite FC Head Coach Nate Miller has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount for disparaging comments made following his team’s contest with FC Tucson on July 13. Miller will be unavailable for Lansing’s contests against Toronto FC II (July 19), South Georgia Tormenta FC (July 27), and Chattanooga Red Wolves SC (7/31). The club is currently appealing the sanction.

The Richmond Kickers’ Jannick Eckenrode has been suspended for one game following his red card for two cautionable offenses against North Texas SC on July 13. Eckenrode will be unavailable for Richmond’s contest against Orlando City B on Saturday.

Toronto FC II’s Terique Mohammed and Chattanooga Red Wolves SC’s Tony Walls have each been suspended for one game for caution accumulation following their fifth yellow cards of the season. Mohammed will be unavailable for Toronto’s contest against Lansing Ignite FC on Friday, while Walls will be unavailable for Chattanooga’s contest against FC Tucson on July 27.

Orlando City B’s Matheus Silva was suspended for one game following his red card for abusive language during his side’s contest against Chattanooga Red Wolves SC on July 10. Silva served his suspension during Orlando’s contest against Greenville Triumph SC on July 13.

Orlando City B’s Austin Amer is no longer under caution accumulation warning, having had one caution removed under the USL’s Good Behavior incentive to place him on three cautions for the season.

The following players enter the upcoming matches one caution away from a yellow card accumulation suspension. Here is the breakdown per club:

  • Greenville Triumph SC (3): Chris Bermudez, Dominic Boland, Tyler Polak

  • Orlando City B (2): Serginho, Moises Tablante

  • Richmond Kickers (1): Joe Gallardo

  • South Georgia Tormenta FC (1): Marco Micaletto

  • Toronto FC II (3): Noble Okello, Fito Ovalle, Franco Ramos Mingo
