Orlando City B rallied late despite playing down a man to salvage a point against Chattanooga Red Wolves SC Wednesday night at Montverde Academy.

Key Events

Sito Seoane opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a tidy finish from the corner of the 18-yard box. Seoane used a quality first touch to bring down Vangjel Zguro’s long pass from midfield before turning and knocking a half volley over the head of goalkeeper Juliano Chade and into the side netting of the far post to score his second goal of the season.

Zguro’s assist on Seoane’s goal was his fifth of the season, which ties him for the league-lead with Arturo Rodriguez of North Texas SC.

Chattanooga captain and leading goal scorer Steven Beattie left the match at halftime due to an apparent head injury. Beattie was replaced by Josue Soto.

Orlando City B’s Matheus Silva was sent off after being shown two yellow cards, both for dissent, in the 87th minute.

Tresor Mbuyu scored an equalizer in the 91st minute following a great individual effort to break into the penalty area. After the long run, Mbuyu got his hips around the ball to fire a shot into the top corner of Alex Mangels goal to draw Orlando level. The goal was Mbuyu’s first of the season; Alasanne Antes Diouf was credited with the assist.

The draw broke a four-match losing streak for Orlando City B and moved the side a point ahead of the Richmond Kickers and out of last place in the League One standings. On the other side of the result, a point keeps the Red Wolves in fourth place and extends the club’s unbeaten run to seven matches.
