TAMPA, Fla. – USL League One announced on Thursday the five nominees for the League One Player of the Month award for March & April, with top performers from the opening five weeks of the league’s inaugural campaign selected for the ballot.
Voting in the USL Player of the Month Award will be conducted by the following two voting bodies:
The award winner and complete voting results will be announced on Thursday, May 9.
Please note: The League One Player of the Month selections process in no way is tied directly to the voting and selection process of End of the Year awards such as League One Most Valuable Player or position players of the year.
2019 USL League One Player of the Month Nominees – March/April
Ricardo Pepi, North Texas SC – Pepi scored four goals to lead the league at the end of April, including recording the first hat trick in League One history on his professional debut.
Conner Antley, South Georgia Tormenta FC – Antley helped Tormenta FC to the top of the League One standings with two goals and three assists in five appearances for the side.
Steven Beattie, Chattanooga Red Wolves SC – Beattie recorded three goals and one assist and notched six key passes over the first five games of the Red Wolves’ campaign.
Ryan Coulter, Forward Madison FC – Coulter posted a save percentage of 88.2 percent as he made 15 saves across three appearances for the Flamingos in their first month of the campaign.
Joe Gallardo, Richmond Kickers – Gallardo notched three goals for the Kickers over their opening five games of the season, including the game-winner in both the club’s victories.
