Local company will air season-long show focusing on FMFC

Forward Madison FC has partnered with Public House Media to create a team-specific podcast, the club announced Wednesday. The podcast, "Let Me Be Forward," is set to air throughout Forward Madison's inaugural 2019 season.

Public House Media, founded in 2017, is a Wisconsin-based startup that specializes in creating podcasts. "Let Me Be Forward" will be hosted by Public House Media founder Baxter Colburn and Madison-based sports broadcaster Madeline Kumm.

According to Forward Madison Managing Director Peter Wilt, fans should be excited by the prospect of having a high-quality, in-depth podcast focused on the team.

“This podcast will be the best way for fans to get inside information on Forward Madison and to gain Madison perspectives on local, national and global soccer events and issues," Wilt said. "Baxter Colburn is a talented interviewer and is one of the most knowledgeable soccer media personalities in Wisconsin. That makes him a great fit to host this podcast.”

The first episode of “Let me Be Foward” will air on Wednesday, March 20, and continue with a new release every Wednesday until the conclusion of the 2019 season. The podcast will be available for streaming on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts and iHeartRadio.

The purpose of the newly created podcast is to give Forward Madison fans a true behind-the-scenes look into their favorite club with coach and player interviews. Along with previews and reviews of each match, Colburn will break down the action from Minnesota United FC and comment on other major soccer headlines that you and your friends have been fighting about on Twitter or chatting about at the local bar. There will even be times where coaches and players from opposing clubs stop by to chat about an upcoming fixture against the 'Mingos.

Fans of the podcast can stay up to date all season by following “Let Me Be Forward” on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram
